Rustic Valentine Tree

It's funny how certain inspiration for projects stay with me for a length of time -- are you like that?   Just like this grapevine tree project.  I seen something similar on a Joann's Craft Store flyer several years ago where they used these painted wood hearts (seen in the supplies picture) to decorate the grapevine cone.  I was very drawn to the decoration because of the rustic look….and looked forward to making one for myself.  I was excited to find some of those wood heart picks on clearance after the season was over and "saved" them for the right time to create.  This year I decided to make my own version of the grapevine valentine tree. I am happy with how it turned out.  yay!
I also added homespun fabric and used black markers on the wood hearts
Not Lighted….

Lighted ~ looks so pretty at night!
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments. :)

Clay Pot Table Top Trees and Potpourri Holder

I had a viewer request to show a closer view of the fall lighted tree I had in my craft show display here.  Thanks for your feedback on my hand painted crafts.  :)

During my craft show days I made many of these clay pot table top trees in lots of color, themes, seasons and used many materials to embellish these fun decorations.  I hope they may inspire you to create one too.
