Hello Thursday and Cricut Lite Jack Pot!

Hello friends....

Today we were treated to our second Hello Thursday for this month of June with the release of 4 new cricut cartridges including 3 mini's and 1 full.  Robyn, Tammy, Joy and Melanie will be showing us some awesome projects with these cartridges over the next few days so click on their names (above) to check them out.

Now....some of us hmmm...mainly ME is still on the Cricut Lite cartridge buzz...and being a HUGE cricut junkie....I always want what I can't have...LOL so I have been on a hunt to find the cricut lite cartridges on my Wish List.    Eventually I'd like to own them all (I know! I know! but I must!) but for now I've settled for locating these in these area's.  I had to make a couple trips into Houston this week which does have TONS of Wal-Marts so hunted them down on my way to and from my visits.

I hit the jackpot and found BLOCK PARTY at the very last one I visited....my hubby was such a trooper...I was soooo excited when I spoted it....
he said "hot damn! thank goodness driving through all of this freeway traffic for wal-mart!
 LOL - love my honey!

I've purchased these over the past couple of weeks......while visiting these area's.....

(sorry the picture isn't a little better....)

Brenham, Texas Wal-Mart (has about 9 so far) - B is for Boy, Carousel, Varsity (font), Chore Chart

Houston, Texas Wal-Mart (had all 24 carts) 290 - off northwest freeway - Slumber Party, Block Party, Celebrate with Flourish

Bryan, Texas (had 2 during my shopping trip)- Wal-Mart - Wildlife

Speaking of being a Cricut Junkie....I've created a fan page on Facebook especially for people just like me....CRICUT JUNKIE'S.  A place to share projects, photo's and blogs that are cricut related.  If you don't do facebook - I completely understand but I thought it would be fun to have all cricut stuff in one place and share our passion together.  I love to share.  Just click here to check it out.....

♥ Cricut Lite Carts ♥ Gypsy A - Z ♥ Cards from Friends ♥ Blog Hop Info

Hi everyone....do I have lots to share with you in this post.  First of all to my regular viewers and visitors I am sorry to have been MIA for the last week or so.  The Texas weather has not been very nice to me and I've been battling some sinus stuff that really makes it hard to concentrate on crafting....but hope to get better soon.  Ü  Thanks for sticking with me.

Now on to more important stuff....

If you haven't heard by now Provo Craft is having 2 Hello Thursday's this month with the first release being today, June 10th with the announcement of 24 new cartridges.  Hello Thursday is usually the 3rd Thursday of the month with the release / announcement of new cartridges...but we are in luck with 2 HT's this month the 10th and 17th. To view images from these carts click HERE.  I already picked up B is for Boy at my Wal-Mart but it does appear that not every store has all 24 carts yet....booo hooo....I can't wait to get Block Party and a few others.  I am really liking the Dude! and Handy Man....okay...enough on that.

This week I finally ordered the Gypsy A - Z DVD co-hosted by Megan (Above Rubies Studio) and Tammy (Creative Critters).  My review - TWO THUMBS UP, 5 stars and this wins the Golden Bug Head Award (like the golden globe HA! I made that up.)  All I can say is WOW....these ladies put on one good show for us.  If you have a Gypsy - this is an awesome DVD to add to your collection.  Click HERE for more information and how to order your copy.  I thought I knew a lot about my Gypsy but I learned so much more through this DVD....Megan and Tammy ROCK!  Ü

Join me and some friends on Saturday June 12th for a June Bug Blog Hop....there will be 10 of us posting projects and give-aways...so as our hostess Momo said on her blog that means 10 Crafters....10 projects ...and 10 give-aways..... more info posted on Saturday.  A blog hop is just a way to share projects and ideas providing a link to the next blog....and you can just hop right on over to the next.

I wanted to share some cards I recently received from some friends.....these are totally AWESOME!

First of all Helen B. made me this most adorable zebra card - it's it the CUTEST?  Thanks Helen!

Helen's Blog - HERE

This one was made by Roni D. - she also made me the most adorable bookmark to go along with it and it has CJToo on it....I just love it.

Roni's Blog - HERE

Next, my friend Robyn sent this handmade card and I just love love love her work and have always been a very big fan.

This last one is made by my friend Jennifer....if you think it looks familiar you are RIGHT....I made a sample for her in Video #98 (click here to view)  and she took my shared idea and created these for her little boy's 2nd birthday....I think she did a wonderful job with my directions....great job Jennifer!

Well, that's all for today....I will be back on Saturday with a project and a give-away....I know you are going to love it!  I have a wonderful sponsor for this give-away and I know you will be thrilled.

Until next time....

♥ Once Upon a Time Princess Lay-out ♥

Hi everyone.....I must be honest with you....when the Once Upon a Princess cartridge came out several months ago it was not one that I thought I needed to add to my cricut cartridge library.  Being the mom of 2 boys I didn't think it "fit" into my crafting style BUT boy was I wrong.  I am so happy I decided to add it to my collection and am totally thrilled to share this layout with you.  Some of my followers have asked for more scrapbook layouts so I will try to design more in the future.  Thanks for stopping by my blog here and you can also find me on facebook HERE.  I post day to day stuff as CraftJunkie Too and will also update my fan page HERE with new projects and/or other scrappin' goodies.  I invite my visitors and fans to post their pictures and share their creative projects too.

Now onto my Princess layout....

I hope you find a little inspiration from this pretty in pink princess project.
