Thank You Gifts Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the Thank You Gifts Blog Hop hosted by http://www.joyslife.com/ - you are in for a real treat today and welcome to CJToo's blog.  This blog hop is all about making Thank You gifts for those who may be overlooked and need some holiday cheer.  If you arrived from Theresa's blog you are on the right trail - if you're starting here you can see a complete list of blogs participating in the Blog Hop below.  :)

In this season we get in such a hurry and forget about "this" person or "that" person or really need a little inspiration to make some treats in a hurry.  Here are 3 ideas I have for you today and I really think these turned out adorable.

I found these packages of tags at Hobby Lobby in the gift wrapping aisle.  You get anywhere between 10 plus tags in a package - perfect for the base of my Thank You card for my treats.  It already has the To: & From: on the card and all you have to do is fill in your name or your child's name.

The red/white stripe tags have the most adorable scalloped square on pop dots and perfect to create some goodie bags with Hershey's candy tied with curly ribbon and jingle bells.

The Merry Christmas tags with Santa is the perfect size to attach a candy cane.  Just punch 2 holes big enough to slide a candy cane into.  These tags are super duper cute and don't need anything but your name to say who it's from.

The last one is my Santa Peppermint Treats using plastic punch cups and some other "stuff" (see supply list below along with instructions).

You could put any of these treats together in little time flat!  I hope it gives you some inspiration to share and say THANK YOU to lots of lovable people who take care of you or  your family.

Reindeer Food - #134

Hi everyone - I have been MIA because I am coordinating a local Christmas Craft Show next week-end. Things are going very well and I consider myself completely full with vendor spots. Click {here} to check things out if you live in my area. I have over 30 vendors and am super excited at the variety of crafts and handmade items I will be able to offer to our shoppers. Since I am solely coordinating this huge event I am not able to do as many personal craft show items but did make some of these cutie patooties to sell. I think I'll sell these for 75 cents or maybe a buck each. What do you think? I always appreciate your feedback.

Recipe:
Rectangle scallop - Gypsy Wanderings (3 in.)
Reindeer - Doodlecharms
Coordinations cardstock
Pattern paper in Christmas stripes
white gel pen
face stamp - PeachyKeen Stamps - PK 640
nose - xmas red stickles

Reindeer food
Oatmeal
sprinkes in Christmas colors
2 x 3 bags - Wal-Mart

The Poem says....
Sprinkle on your lawn Christmas Eve night.
Hopefully the sky will be starry and bright!
Guiding Rudolph leading Santa's sleigh
All in preparation for Christmas Day!

You can google search "reindeer food poems" and get lots of ideas to create your own.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Big Hugs!!! Ü

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by for the Imagine Nation Blog Hop 2.  The Imagine Nation Blog Hop features 10 blogs that will create or show us projects using our Cricut Imagine.  If you are on the blog hop trail you arrived from Abby's blog {here}  - If you want to start at the beginning click {here} so you don't miss anything along the way.

Ghostly Treats Goodie Project & Video #42

No one will be scared of these ghostly little treats for halloween this year. No sir---ee!!!
They are the cutest little treats ever. Thanks to Robyn at http://www.mypinkstamper.com/for the inspiration of this project. You can visit her site to see her little ghost treats too.

I started with a coffee filter (2 in fact to avoid the lollipop wrapper color showing through) - stamped cute little peachykeenfaces from http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/and wrapped them around tootsie roll pops. I secured with curly ribbon. Cute, simple and adorable. Anyone will love to get given one of these.

Enjoy!

Here is the video on creating these cuties and all of the details.

Mark Your Calendar - Saturday October 31st ~ we're having a Halloween Booo-Log Party here at CraftJunkieToo.com. Video's, challenges and prizes. More details coming soon.

Also, congratualations to my friend Megan over at http://www.aboverubiesstudio.com/on the launch of her brand new Above Rubies Studio website. Beginning October 15th she will be having lots of good cool stuff going on over there. Hop on over and check it out. http://www.aboverubiesstudio.com/
