I have several teen-agers on my gift giving list this year and instead of trying to figure out the right gift I thought this would be fun gift that would sure bring a smile to their face.

Holiday Dough is "perfect" gift for these guys this year.  It is just the "right size and color".  lol!

If you'd like to make some of these for yourself -- enjoy this free printable.

Collin's Fight and Cancer Sucks Card

~ Hi everyone ~

Today, I share a heartbreaking story of Collin who is 13 years old and recently diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkins Lymphoma.  This special guy is very near and dear to me because we've known his family his whole life, my son is friends with his twin sisters and we belong to the same church.  Instead of shopping for school supplies, school clothes and a backpack Collin is taking chemo-therapy and cooped up in a hospital where he will most likely be when the school bells ring for his 8th grade year.  I wanted to share a card I made for Collin to send to him along with a care package.   I thought he would get a kick out of the card with lollipops.

My Pink Stamper's HOPE AND COURAGE stamp collection has the PERFECT sentiment on it….because Cancer Sucks big time!

T-Ball Baseball Goodie Bags

My sweet sports star Spencer is playing his first year of t-ball and the parents take turns bringing an "after game" snack for each kiddo.  When it was our turn you know I just can't hand each player a pkg. of crackers or brownie -- I need to dress it up, right?? lol!!

Here is what I did.  You will be amazed how simple, easy and fast these bags were to make.

I started with plain white lunch bags, cut out a 4" circle template from my Martha Stewart Circle cutter and traced the circle onto the white bag for the "ball".

I then used a red marker to draw the "baseball" lines of a half circle and then added dashes on the lines to give the ball a realistic effect.  See -- easy peasy!

I love to give a sweet message with my goodie bags so I am using the sentiment "Be the Best YOU you can Be!" -- found on the new set My Pink Stamper collection "Never Give Up".  I also added "ALL STAR" from My Pink Stamper's Boy Crazy collection.  I love how you can mix messages up from all of Robyn's collections!

And lastly I wanted to share a picture of my sweet boy Spencer -- he was a big help putting the goodie bags together.  His teammates loved them!  :)

Linking up this project at these fun parties!

Much love and I'll be back soon!

{I Choo Choose You} Boy Valentine!

Hello and welcome!

Being the mom of a little boy I'm always on the look out for "boy" valentines.  I thought this lil' train from Cricut's "Boys will be Boys" would be a great card for a valentine.  Pairing it with "I Choo Choose You" from My Pink Stamper's Boy Crazy set -- seems to be the perfect match!  These are so super simple and can easily be mass produced -- even at the last minute.  lol!!

Repurposed Cowboy Tag

For Spencer's birthday party last week I made signs for the various drinks like sweet tea, soda, bottled water, juice boxes so the guests would know what was in each ice chest.  Since his theme was a cowboy party I printed just a simple cowboy onto white cardstock to tie the theme together.

After the party was over I had all of these signs that were too good to just throw away and thought I could use the printed cowboy for something else, so I saved them…..  Here is what I did with one of them.  I cut out the cowboy (from the white cardstock), adhered it to some brown cardstock and added a little tag using a couple of sentiments from My Pink Stamper's Boy Crazy stamp set (Yee Haw and Have a Super Birthday) To attach to the gift bag I used jute twine.  I think it looks adorable…..and I knew I'd find another use for them. ☺

I like the length of the tag -- it really adds character to the entire gift bag.  :)

Cowboy Roller Skating Birthday Invitation

Now you probably read the title of this post and said "what?" cowboy + roller skates = huh??

Its Birthday time again coming up for my little guy Spencer and since he is getting pretty good at roller skating he requested a roller skating party this year…..how fun!  When we discussed his party "theme" -- he immediately said COWBOYs hmmm…..I reminded him that he had that for the last 2 years…. then he said HORSES!  Now….Spencer has had a cowboy themed birthday party for the last 2 years (click here and here) but he insists on having another one.  BIG SIGH….he is a cowboy through and through so….guess what?  We are having another cowboy themed birthday party!!. (I really love it too).

I wanted to share his invitation for this year's party and
I'll share more about the party details as it gets a little closer.

Whatcha think about my little poem? I love "play on words".
I'd love to hear your feedback.

Thanks for leaving me a comment.

Personalized Frame for a Baby Gift ~ #170

My hairstylist recently welcomed a new baby boy into her family and when she returns to work after maternity leave I want to give this to her on my first visit back with her.  I wanted to make something personalized and decided on this frame that she can put in his room.  I went with the camouflaged theme because the dad is a hunting fan and I know he can't wait to have his little guy tag along…..I think its adorable!

I'd love to hear what you think about this creation….:)

If you like the sentiment -- I've included it here for you -- just right click and save on your computer.  :)

Happy Birthday Basketball Fan

Here is the card I created for my 14 year old's birthday which is today. He's a HUGE basketball fan and loves to play and watch basketball.
The card measures 11 x 4 1/4... I wanted to accommodate a long lean BB player.
- I cut the BB player at 7 inches from Basketball Solutions.
- Happy Birthday is cut at 1 1/4 inches from Birthday Cakes cricut cake cartridge.
- Skyler is cut at 1 inch on Varsity letter.
One of my cards would not be complete without some doodling with white gel pens and black markers.
The basketball is a 1 inch circle and I drew on the BB lines.
Thanks for stopping by today ... We're off to celebrate Skyler's birthday by going shopping for a laptop for him....Wish me luck to find one that will not break my pocket book. Crossing fingers!!!

Video #18 ~ Cowboy Birthday Invitations using PDDU

Can you say "giddy up, Cowboy?" Well, my little cowboy, Spencer is turning 3 years old very soon. I thought long and hard about party invitations because the possibilities are endless. Anyhoo's, this is what I came up with. I used the PDDU - Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge to create this little cute invitation.

Please note that there are 2 videos with this project, part 1 & 2. Due to YouTube's rules video's are cut at 10 minutes in length. I have lots of ideas and tutorials for the cricut in this video that I didn't want to cut including the Auto Fill button, Multi-Cut and Set Paper Size. So I expanded this tutorial for 2 video's each being about 10 minutes = 20 minutes of your time. I also give you tips on layering in this project as layering can be tricky.

please note that I do have birthay music in these video's so turn down your speakers so you don't get into trouble....hehehehee

Hugs,
Tracy
