HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY ~ 2013 my sweet blogging friends!
I wanted to stop by and wish you all a wonderful and sweet day; thanks so much for visiting, commenting, emails, messages and just "being here". Even if you don't comment, email or message -- please know that I appreciate you all the same. It is a thrill to see my page views and I love you all.

I covered large chocolate candy bars with scrapbook paper, white copy paper (in center), added a few doodles, 3" scallop circle, folk heart punch, and sentiment from Paper Trey Ink (Signature Greetings).
I'll be back later this afternoon for the T.G.I.F. Linky Party #85 going live at 4:00 pm CST.
Creating just the "right" class valentine is hard work especially with a 6 year old little boy who has his own opinions of what he wants his valentines to look like. I jokingly told him (but I was somewhat serious) that "your older brother never did this to me, he always liked my valentine ideas." -- ha! He's a chip off of the old block and loves to throw out crafting ideas. Remember his Football Heart Valentines from last year and the Dinosaur Valentines from 2011? This year was no different.
This year….he was insistent to give a pencil to each of his friends. We played around with different ideas of how to create our valentines that we could incorporate a pencil and finally settled on the one I'll show you in this post.
For the base of the treat holder I'm using the Trifold Card Die from My Creative Time. The adorable little cupid guy is from My Cute Graphics.
If you're looking for another idea with this sentiment here is one Spencer and I created several years ago and we also have a video tutorial to go along with it. :)
I {love} Valentine's Day crafts -- I think it's one of my favorites to plan for. For my Sunday School kids I found these fun Valentines for their treat bags….and thought I'd share them with you too.
Remember these fun paper catchers. You fold the paper and ask the person a number, you count that number of times with the folded paper, then read them the special message.
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great day so far. As I promised in Monday's blog post of my Valentine Mantel decor …..I'm here to share how I made my Burlap Valentine Banner. It was pretty simple to make ~ which is (love). :)
I made a simple template from cardboard and used my corner rounder to round the corners -- it really didn't matter because I had a hard time rounding the corners of my burlap -- so a straight rectangle or square will work just as well.
I think the pictures are pretty clear but if you have any additional questions please leave me a comment or email me and I'll be happy to answer.
