July Pink-alicious Blog Hop featuring Moo-ey Doodles by My Pink Stamper

Click here for the T.G.I.F. Linky Party!

Welcome to the July 2012 Pink-alicious Blog Hop hosted by My Pink Stamper.  This month we are super excited to show you the brand new kit including the Moo-ey Doodles image stamps.  So cute and fun.

For my project I created a 2-page scrapbook layout highlighting the cow with mexican hat.  I was going for a "birthday" theme and used the cow w/hat as a pinata image. I designed a bright colored banner using triangles for the pennants and glued jute rope to give it the hanging effect.  I attached the cow to the banner to appear as if it's hanging just ready to be busted open.

Okay -- next on the blog hop trail is my super talented friend Ms. Shelley so let's see what's she's created using this new kit….

Here is what you get in the Moo-ey Doodles Kit this month….

Happy Easter Scrapbook Pages

Hello and welcome to the March 2012 edition of the Design Team projects hosted by My Pink Stamper.  I hope you enjoy our projects, tips, tricks and techniques we have for you!

Each month the entire receives the same assignment which may include theme, type of project, color combo etc. and this month our assignment was to incorporate the colors green, yellow and blue into any project type.

For my project….I chose to complete a scrapbook page(s) because I REALLY want to get more into scrapbooking my family…..for my pages below….you may notice the simplicity of my pages because I've made the decision that "less is better" -- meaning I don't need to spend hours making one page that I lose interest.  Simple pages with a simple theme to enhance my pictures on the pages.  I'm giving this approach a try -- so you may see more scrapbook pages here.  :)

Supplies:

Happy Easter sentiment - Happiest Moments collection by My Pink Stamper
Easter bunnies & grass - Easter 2010 by Cricut
embossing folder on grass - Swirls by Cuttlebug
Spring border punch - Martha Stewart
Copic markers for doodling on eggs, grass and bunnies

If you like my little simple scrapbook page -- feel free to pin it for future reference…..

Pinkalicious Blog Hop - November

Welcome to the November edition of the Pinkalicious Blog Hop hosted by Robyn, My Pink Stamper.  If you're following the hop you should have arrived from Sharon's blog.

For my project I chose to make a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout featuring sentiments from the new set More Fabulous Phrases (see photo below) and the adorable elephant from Birthday Bash by Cricut.

This sentiment is from the new set "That's Punnylicious" set that Robyn also released recently -- I just cut the stamp so I could use it the way I wanted.

Now it's time to continue the hop over the ROBERTA'S blog to see what my sweet friend created.

{My Front Door} Digital Scrapbook Page

Earlier this summer we had the outside of our house painted -- all I can say is wow what a difference a bucket of paint (many buckets) and some talented guys make!  I am so happy and pleased with the colors I picked out.
To remember this exciting time -- I'm doing a digital scrapbook and will show you a few more pages very soon but wanted to share one that I finished tonight.

I'd love to hear your feedback and let me know what you may be interested in seeing here and I'll see what I can do.

Digital Designs by CJToo! You are my Sunshine Page

One of my passions is clip art, digital images, digi stamps, whatever they are called -- I love it all!  I have a very large collection of clip art images that takes me way back to the 90's (yes, I'm serious).  I remember saving my first clip art images on floppy disks because my computer hard drive was so full.  This was a long time ago before cd's and dvds.  Back then….there were lots of clip art artists who loved to draw and offered their images free (with a request that if someone used the image they would give credit where due).  Sadly, so many people would take the image and claim as their own or worse, sell the image.  Boo Hoo!  That doesn't stop me from purchasing it!  loooove it….:)

  .    .    .    .    .   .    .    .

I wanted to share one of my first digital scrapbook pages….

that I put together for your inspiration.
You don't need to have these exact images to create a scrapbook page just like this -- no ma'am -- this is just for ideas, inspiration and your viewing pleasure.
Create a F-U-N page with a photo of your kids at the park or on a fun outing somewhere special.  Got a Cricut -- pull out one of your cartridges that has these types of images on them and create one similar.  Paper Doll Dress Up or Everyday Paper Dolls has some adorable images that would be wonderful to create a page just like this!
Have digital scrapbooking page elements, clip art, digital images, digi stamps?  Use them!  Substitute the boy or girl for your kids, pets or other fun images you may have.

I'd love to hear your feedback and I thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment.

p.s. I will continue to create projects using my cricut machines -- I am a true craft junkie and like to dibble dabble with lots of crafty avenues.  I like to move onto new things OR revisit some old friends.  I hope you like it too.

For this page I used:
- page is 12 x 12
- yellow and white checkered patterned paper
- a sun
- a cloud
- "Zachary" font for journaling inside cloud.
- fonts for "you are my sunshine" (part of a digital set I have)
- one boy
- one girl
- 4.50 x 6.50 rounded rectangle for photo mat

Big Hugs!

Best Buds Scrapbook Page

I was going through my computer photos and came across the "Best Buds" Scrapbook Page that Spencer and I did back in May to help Robyn (My Pink Stamper) celebrate National Scrapbooking Day (click here to view that)- but I never posted it here at CJToo.  ooopsey!
The photo's are new but the video has been on YouTube since May so some of you may have already seen the video.

Better late than never!  :)

. . . . . . . . . .

Here is my sweet Spencer showing off his masterpiece.  In the video you will hear and see all of the materials we used.  I let him basically design this page for his scrapbook.  Notice his "doodling" too. :)

4th of July Parade Scrapbook Page & Video #168

4th of July Parades (like this one) are really popular in my community -- it brings everyone out (no matter the age).... to support the community by joining in the parade with old cars, farm equipment, homemade floats, kids dressed up, marching kazoo bands, trail riders and lots more. Lots of areas have bar-b-que luncheons or dinners along with afternoons filled with fun and games. The evening finishes off with a fireworks event in some areas.

I thought I'd make a scrapbook page to remember the event this year. Digital Delights by Louby Loo's USA Myrtle the Turtle is perfect for this project as she is proudly holding her flag and is so excited to adorn my page.

I used my copic markers to color Ms. Myrtle but you can purchase the colored version here.

If you like the sentiment above I have it here for you. :)
Just right click and save onto your computer.
Just right click and save the title on your own computer, print and enjoy!

Birthday Bag for Fireman's Birthday! Video #167

Hi everyone ~

I'm here to show you another Designer tutorial using an ADORABLE digital image by Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
I created this birthday bag using Fireman Peyton (colored) for a special little boy who is turning 3 years old soon and is having a big - ole - fireman - themed - birthday - party.  How perfect is this little guy!!!  The best thing is that I created the front of the bag in a way that the mom (who is a huge scrapbooker) can disassemble the front of the bag and use the entire page from the bag for the little birthday boy's scrapbook later on.

You can get the image in colored format or the line drawings and you can use your markers or pencils to add your own colors.  Check out the digi store for more images.

❉ "Caden is cut at 1.75 from Cuttin' Up Cricut cartridge (#3 is 3")
❉ Border punch ~ "Drippy Goo" by Martha Stewart
❉ White Galaxy marker

❉ Fireman Peyton
❉"fire" bandana from Hobby Lobby instead of tissue paper (adds a nice added touch to the top of the bag)

Have a super day everyone!

What's Your Summer Blog Hop ~ Pool Party Scrapbook Pages

Welcome to the What's your Summer Blog Hop hosted by Ms. Ashley at My Scrappin' Palace.  Thank you Ashley for inviting me to hop along today. :)

If you are following the hop you should have arrived from my super talented friend Ms. Momo's blog.  Wow -- what a hard act to follow.  :)

Today's project's are all about summer and our favorite things to do.

-----
My sister Tina has a beautiful backyard pool and we get together frequently to hang out by the their pool, grill up some burgers and watch the kids swim or play a game of volleyball in the pool -- in fact it's our favorite thing to do during the summer.
I created this layout for some of our summer pictures.
Simple but fun!

I used the Seasonal cartridge Luau for the images.
Click HERE to see the images.

I adhered the ribbon on the back side of each photo mat, loosely tying a knot around the front.  I didn't adhere the ribbon down in the front as I will need this space to slip my picture in.

I used my white gel pen on the palm tree and brown marker for extra doodling around all of the  photo mats and images.

The sun is cut at 4 inches

Pool Party is cut at 7" fit to length -- I used my Copic markers to color the drink glass, straw and fruit on the cup.  There is not a shadow for Pool Party so I created my own using blue card stock and cutting around for a shadow effect.

Now hop on over to the super talented Tanya's blog to continue with the hop.
Thanks for stopping by and have a SUPER day!

Come back tomorrow as I will have another project tutorial for you.
