Video #21 ~ 100% All Boy Scrapbook Layout

Hi everyone....

Here is a simple scrapbook layout I put together for my toddler, Spencer. This past Spring we paid my good friend a visit to check our her new shop....as I was talking to my friend about her new store, he quickly took advantage of her bracelet basket and filled his arms with her bracelets...it was the cutest thing ever.
The pattern paper is from the DCWV Animal Crackers paper stack. I the jumbled BOY is from Graphically Speaking and 100% is cut from Learning Curve. I also included a journaling block to capture the moment, month and his age. To mat my pictures I used a 4 1/2 x 6 x1/2 piece of photo paper and inked around the edges with my stamp pads in different colors.
I know he will be very happy to look back on this memory when he is say...hmmmm..16...HA!

I appreciate your comments.

Hugs,
Tracy

Video #19 ~ Creating Happy Faces Tutorial for Paper Dolls

I had some requests to post a tutorial on how I create the happy little faces on my paper dolls or painting projects. Here is a quick tutorial of the basics. If you would like more 1:1 information ~ click on the Contact Me button on leave a comment here with your specific question and I will answer it.

Creating faces are not hard....you can use PeachyKeenStamps and your stamp pad or black sharpie markers. I prefer Sharpie markers because they do not smear when I put a sealer over the face for my painting projects. You can definitely use what ever you'd like but sharpie markers are permanant.

p.s. I love your comments to let me know that you find my tutorials helpful. If you have a suggestion for future projects - let me know.

xoxo,
Tracy

*please note* I only show the basics in the video.....if you want to know more specifics contact me....Ü

Video #18 ~ Cowboy Birthday Invitations using PDDU

Can you say "giddy up, Cowboy?" Well, my little cowboy, Spencer is turning 3 years old very soon. I thought long and hard about party invitations because the possibilities are endless. Anyhoo's, this is what I came up with. I used the PDDU - Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge to create this little cute invitation.

Please note that there are 2 videos with this project, part 1 & 2. Due to YouTube's rules video's are cut at 10 minutes in length. I have lots of ideas and tutorials for the cricut in this video that I didn't want to cut including the Auto Fill button, Multi-Cut and Set Paper Size. So I expanded this tutorial for 2 video's each being about 10 minutes = 20 minutes of your time. I also give you tips on layering in this project as layering can be tricky.

please note that I do have birthay music in these video's so turn down your speakers so you don't get into trouble....hehehehee

Hugs,
Tracy

Video #17 ~ Cupcake Gift Card

Cupcakes are the "thing" right now, at least in the card decorating world they are. Here is a super simple project that is a card project and I call it a "gift in itself" because when you open up the "icing" of the cupcake it reveals the message of the card, mine says Happy Birthday and the liner of the cupcake hides the "gift". Perfect for gift cards or cold hard cash....Ü If you'd like to find out how I created this simple card please watch my video.

As always I really appreciate the comments and feedback. This way I know you are enjoying the video's and visiting my blog. THANKS!

Video #16 ~ Flower Messages Card

Hi everyone.....

It's amazing where we crafters find our inspiration. I found a simple roll of flower ribbon and fell in love with it. It inspired me to create this card the same day I bought it....Ü

This is not just a traditional open and close card but rather the individual flowers open and close - different huh? Do you own thing with it.

I used Hello Kitty Greetings for the flowers.....

Thanks for watching the video....

p.s. thanks for leaving me a comment and let me know what you think about this different idea.....

Hi Everyone....

Here is a video that I created using the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. I created two of these Hello Kitty birthday thingee's (not sure what to call them) because they went along with my nieces scrap'ntote birthday gifts (video #11) - they absolutely LOOOOVED them. I just hung them on their birthday bags. It is so rewarding to have your hard work be the gift at the party that everyone ooooooo's and awwwweee's over so it was very exciting. ::big grin::

In this video I will also show you how I use the Portrait button, Fit to Page button and also the Xyron create-a-sticker gadget.

Please leave me a comment. They really make my day.
