♥Sweet Repeat♥ - 1st Day of School Lay-out

Hi everyone and Happy Friday! 


I have a couple of projects to post for you next week (or possibly this week-end) but I wanted to share a layout I made LAST YEAR (2009) ~ I call this post a "Sweet Repeat" of a project previously posted from last year that some of my newer viewers may not have seen yet.  Click HERE to see the full post from August 2009.  :)  I was sooo super excited because this lay-out was featured in the Cricut Chirp that week - wow! what an honor!.  You can see that by clicking HERE.  :)  Have a super week-end everyone and see ya soon! :)

The sign is from Locker Talk and the bus is from Doodlecharms.  The road is black vinyl cut with wavy scissors and white pen for center lines.  The paw print on the green background is for our school mascot. Go Cubs!

♥ 1st Day of School Treat Bags & Video #114 ♥

Hi CJToo Friends and welcome to my blog....thanks so much for stopping by. :) 


Spencer, my lil' guy is starting his pre-school 4-year old class on Monday 8/23 and I made these little goodie treat bags for him to pass out to his friends to say "happy 1st day of school".  What a fun treat, huh?  My inspiration comes from my talented friend Emma at My Creative Time.  Click HERE to see her amazing project.  Thanks my sweet friend for the inspiration.

Doodlecharms - Cricut cartridge - cut at 3" black out and shift (yellow)

yellow and black cardstock for bus

white cardstock for bag topper

white gel  pen & black sharpie marker

white buttons

black ribbon 1/2"

plastic bags (jewelry dept. - Wal-Mart)

candy or goodie of your choice

♥ Bear Hugs Card for the Teacher ♥

My son is finishing up in the 3 year old class (the Bears) and moving up to the 4 year old class on Monday.  I made this special card for his teacher and one for his aide too and will write a special note inside to say THANKS for a great year! :). 

The Create a Critter cartridge has the most adorable bear so it's perfect!  :)

♥ Melon Card & Video # 113 ♥

I made this card for a dear friend who will be retiring soon and her party is this week.  I've been wanting to create a card like this for a while and the Fruit and Veggie Pun stamps by MyPinkStamper go nicely with the Preserves cartridge.  I know my friend will love it!   Thanks for stopping by everyone.

♥ You're a Deer Birthday Card (for my hubby)♥

Guy cards were so hard to create .....but not anymore now that we have the Cricut Lite Wildlife cartridge which is full of animals for the hunter in mind.  Here is a card I created for my sweet hubby for his birthday which is today.  The MPS stamps go perfect with it too.  :)
