All Star Team Baseball Bats {Project}

Baseball is a big deal in my county and my community supports our young boys and girls who play hard all season long and it's a great honor to be selected for one of the All Star teams that go on to play through the summer months.  For several years I've created some hand-painted items that will hang on the fence, dugout or other places the teams play.

I wanted to share these creations with you this year I received as a custom order.  ☺

Here are a few other projects I've created:

  • black electric tape for handles of each bat

find in electric supply
section of the store
  • black suede lace for hanging bats

  • Ceramcoat Paints (green and black)
  • Stickles - Crystal for highlighting personalization

  • Ceramcoat Gloss Exterior/Interior Varnish

Have a great day everyone and thanks for reading!

T-Ball Baseball Goodie Bags

My sweet sports star Spencer is playing his first year of t-ball and the parents take turns bringing an "after game" snack for each kiddo.  When it was our turn you know I just can't hand each player a pkg. of crackers or brownie -- I need to dress it up, right?? lol!!

Here is what I did.  You will be amazed how simple, easy and fast these bags were to make.

I started with plain white lunch bags, cut out a 4" circle template from my Martha Stewart Circle cutter and traced the circle onto the white bag for the "ball".

I then used a red marker to draw the "baseball" lines of a half circle and then added dashes on the lines to give the ball a realistic effect.  See -- easy peasy!

I love to give a sweet message with my goodie bags so I am using the sentiment "Be the Best YOU you can Be!" -- found on the new set My Pink Stamper collection "Never Give Up".  I also added "ALL STAR" from My Pink Stamper's Boy Crazy collection.  I love how you can mix messages up from all of Robyn's collections!

And lastly I wanted to share a picture of my sweet boy Spencer -- he was a big help putting the goodie bags together.  His teammates loved them!  :)

Linking up this project at these fun parties!

Much love and I'll be back soon!

Decorating Car with Vinyl for All Stars!

My nephew made the All-Star baseball team again this year and it's a tradition in the community to decorate the windows of your vehicle to support your kid.  It's - a - very - big - deal!!!
Most of the people use paint but my sister just got a brand new Tahoe oh about 4-5 months ago and she said "no paint" so I put my Cricut machine and Gypsy to work.
The decorated windows are seen from all (except windsheild) windows decorated to just the back glass - which my sister opted to do this year.  I think it turned out super cute.

I designed everything in my Gypsy and then cut it out on my Cricut machine.

My sister ran into a RAIN shower on the way to my house -- and I wanted to show you HOW WELL the vinyl sticks on your vehicle even after getting wet.

● Baseball ~ Baseball Solutions
(I did use red paint to draw the lines of the ball)
● Flames on ball ~ Indie Art Solutions

● WC for Washington County ~ Gypsy Font
● All Stars, Rylan & #13 ~ Mickey Font
● Stars ~ Baseball Solutions

This All-Star team has been playing together since 2009 (just a few changes) - HERE are the baseballs I painted for them.  You can see how they hang them on the fence during their game HERE a well as the first year I painted my sister's car.  In 2010 I used the Cricut Lite cartridge Varsity Letter to decorate her car ~ click HERE to see that.

Here is my All-Star nephew Rylan!!  Go Boy!

I'm linking up to these parties this week....you should too....

♥ Cricut Lite Varsity Letter for Car Vinyl ♥

Hi everyone and Happy 4th of July week-end!
Here is a project I did for my sister's car using the Cricut Lite cartridge Varsity Letter. In our area All-Star baseball is HUGE and supporting our All-Star teams is a big deal so all of the parents ride around with their car windows painted up.  Last year I painted her car windows - you can see that by clicking HERE but this year I used vinyl and the Cricut Lite Varsity Letter.  This cartridge is a font cartridge this is PERFECT for sports themed projects....and I think this turned out real nice.  She gets TONS of complements. How cool is that!?!!

Baseball is from Sports Mania

All-Star banner is from Sports Mania

All Star Baseball Team Project

This is the project I have been working on for the last week or so. My nephew (and godson) made the 9-year olds All-Star baseball team and I made these wooden baseballs personalized for each all-star player on the team.
They will hang these one the fence when they play their game. The ball is actually the size of a dinner plate as that is what I used as my template. I drew them on 1/2" plywood and my wonderful hubby cut them out on the ban saw. I painted them up and personalized them with each boys name and jersey number. I think they turned out great.
