Non-Traditional Graduation Card

Hi everyone!  I bet you thought I'd fallen off of the face of the earth…..huh? :)  Sorry for the hiatus but I have to be honest with you and say something I never thought I'd say.

I.lost.my.crafting.mojo. thus my blogging mojo

GASP….

(insert sad face here)

I haven't been crafting much so I haven't had much craftiness to share here on the blog.  If I start a project I just can't seem to get into the "groove" of finishing it and my creative flow has run away.  :(  :(  Hoping one day I'll get it back.

………..

With graduation season upon us -- I did want to share a card I created for a friend.

Details:
Card is 5.50 x 4.25
Graduation Cap - Creative Memories This and That by Cricut
White pens used - Galaxy Marker and white gelly roll pen

Coloring with Copics ~ Graduation Image

If you are looking for the Bake Sale Blog Hop click here.

Hi everyone - here's another tutorial design post for Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
If you're like me you have lots of Graduation gifts or projects to make.

The Graduation Larry from Digital Delights by Louby Loo is the perfect image to add to your cards or projects. Wendy offers them already colored or you can purchase just the line drawing and color them yourself.  Perfect!
I am really trying to learn color my images with Copic markers and wanted to share this little video with you. I learn by "seeing" someone else do it so I am sharing what I've learned....

I hope you enjoy! These images can be added to cards, projects, scrapbook pages, really just about anything. :)

Diploma is perfect to personalize with name of graduate or school name!
Edited to add the Copic marker colors -

  • graduation cap and gown - G09 Veronese Green, shading went back over with G09
  • skin - E00 Skin White; shading - Y26 Mustard
  • diploma - Y02 Canary Yellow, shading Y26 Mustard
  • tassle on cap - Y26 Mustard
