For my project today I decided to create some ornaments for my lil' Valentine's tree that I have up all year in my dining room....well, not with valentine's ornaments....BUT to decorate for the different seasons.

I have this 3 foot slim pine tree in my dining room that I decorate for the different seasons and instead of pulling out my "old" and "same ole, same ole" ornaments I decided to create new ones.  Yes, it took a little time but my GYPSY helped in a HUGE way.  I designed everything in my Gypsy and was able to save my images into one file and when I was ready I laid all of my paper out on my mat cutting out the images using my Cricut Expression.

Supplies: 4 inch paper coasters ~ $1.00 bin at Michael's black faux fur or black boa ~ Michael's black and red boa for tree garland ~ Hobby Lobby Designer papers ~ Red striped and black diamond (alternating on differnt coasters) Cricut cartridges: Sweethearts Simply Sweet Doodlecharms Stamps: Love-alicious by My Pink Stamper Miscellaneous: brads, prima flowers, bling, gems, black and white pens for doodling Trace circle of coaster on the back of pattern paper, cut out with scissors. Adhere paper to coaster Punch 3/16" hole with Crop-a-dile; set an eyelet Various ribbons, tulle and/or other hangers can be used to hang ornaments on your tree ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Birthday Bash Project ~ Birthday Gift Bag Project

Take a plain white handle bag and turn it into an awesome project using Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge.  The gift is cut at 8 inches,  I embossed the "lid" of the gift with my Happy Birthday cuttlebug folder and embossing powder.  I also added tulle and odd and end ribbons to give the gift a finishing touch.  The punch for the pink border is Scallop Dot by Martha Stewert.  Love  her stuff!  The Happy Birthday is cut at 2.50 inches from the Sweet Treats cartridge too.  This gift bag will definitely be the best dressed at the party.  Ü

~ Video #69 & #70 - Basic Layering with Sweet Treats Birthday Cake

The Sweet Treats cricut cartridge is packed full of yummy birthday cakes, cupcakes, ice cream varieties and lots more to make your projects a real sweet treat.  In this video tutorial I am showing basic layering with the new cricut owner in mind.  With Christmas directly behind us we have lots of new cricut owners and I know I have some new followers and visitors because you are here trying to learn more about this marvelous machine. 

I selected a yummy birthday cake to show off what you can do with this cartridge. 

To ensure I covered all of the bases I had to put it in 2 parts (YouTube has a policy of video's being under 10 minutes).
