Clean or Dirty Dishwasher Signs

I was totally inspired to create some of these little signs for my dishwasher the moment I spotted them over at Somewhat Simple.  Once upon a time I had a clean/dirty sign for my dishwasher but not sure what ever happened to it?!!  I think one of my boys "played" with it when he was little and stuck it somewhere (probably in the trash) -- lol.  

It was time for something new because I would hear "mom, are the dishes clean or dirty?" -- Well, hopefully this will solve that problem around our house.

I cut the letters using my Cricut.  

The font I used is Sunny Day found on the Sesame Street Font cartridge.

Princess Canvas Personalized Boards

Hi everyone.....

Earlier this evening I gave you a Sneaky Peaky of a project I've been working on for the past couple of days. Ü

I love making these personalized canvas boards and sometimes it is the perfect gift for that hard to find something for person or a different spelling of the person's name.  I'll be offering various designs for sale soon....Ü
My cousin's twin daughters recently celebrated their 1st birthday and I couldn't wait to created one of these boards for them.  I am so happy to share the with you today.  Ü

white gel pen and Copic markers for doodling

i-rock for bling (just i-rock gems)

otherwise it will melt your gem/jewel (experience Ü)

I finally pulled out my i-rock gadget by Imaginisce and attached the diamond looking bling on the dress and the word CROWN.  If you don't have one....take it from me....the i-rock - ROCKS..... I can't believe I waited so long to pull it out and use it.

Fun Sign with Cricut

I was asked by a local business to create a fun sign that would let customers know where they can find the Appliance Room as the store recently moved stuff around to accommodate a large shipment of additional furnishings/items. They decided to set up the back room for appliances (washers, dryers, refridgerators, etc.) and wanted to help direct shoppers/customers to that area. So, taaaa daaaaa this is what I came up with. The sign will be hung from the ceiling to direct customers to the right area. I think it turned out a-okay. ? Huh, whatcha think?

I used Cricut Cuttin' Up Cartridge for the "Appliance" letters cut in size 5 - hot pink cartstock and shadowed in white cardstock. Storybook - size 6 for the "Room" letters in white and shadowed in bright yellow. The arrow as hand drawn and cut by hand. I used Walk in My Garden for the flowers in various colors and sizes. I love this cartridge - I am a girlie girl and love flowers. Ü This was the first project I used for WIMG and I will be using it a lot.

Finally, I ran all of the designs through my laminator and glued them to the board. I hope the manager will be happy. It's my sister, so she should be. HA! You can't complain or beat something done for free, right?
